Paul,
I did it myself. I created a template matching the end of each blade, slid
it down the amount I wanted to take off, scribed a line and then sawed it
off and trimmed it up with a file.
If you take the same amount off of each blade, the balance remains intact.
I have 10,000 miles on it with no issues at all.
