Dave, again a good analysis, but sorry. When installing the new 3/8" vs
stock 5/16" gas line, I even put a heat shield near the area where the
line passes near the header, and then the line comes up the firewall,
and does not continue to the front of the engine, as in stock.
The two clues are what the Holley guy said about sounding like a rev
limiter and a electrical issue, and that it got worse over the 3 days of
starting and working on the problem.
