Once again I ask the list for parts information outside of Tigerdom, but I
know many of you have "other" rides as well............

I need to find a source for metric fittings for SU carb's on a 1973
Datsun
  510. The carb setup was a Datsun performance product available over the
  counter only.
The person who bestowed this ride on me used Earl's plumbing, but those
late
70's hoses and fitting seals have all gone away.
Basically this is what I need (two of):

A metric size 12 male, 1.25 thread fitting that on the other end will take
a
slip-on 1/4" (or there abouts) gas line to be heald with a hose clamp. This
would NOT be a taper fit and the hex area needs to be large enough to seal
with a washer as it tightens against the carb.

I have been to the Earl's site, which lead me to dealers, who seem to not
carry anything metric. Anyway, going the whole Earl's route again could get
rather pricey. All local parts stores come up empty.

Thanks to any who can point me in the right direction. Regards, Tom Witt
