Am rebuilding my original 260 engine, actually having it done for me.
My rebuild person is not a small block Ford expert, and has some questions
for me that are beyond my knowledge. Hoping I can get some feedback from
the experience from the group.
This is for street performance Tigering.
Piston recommendations, preferred Pistons?
Can hyperentectic pistons be used?
What is the maximum safe overbore, without sonic testing?
Camshaft, push rods, lifters, and rocker studs, rocker recommendations?
Original camshaft is in decent condition, should I change that?
At 270 degrees advertised duration, how much compression ratio with 91
octane fuel?
