Hey guys:
We're having a problem getting some so-called "stock" front shocks to fit a Mk
1. A friend of mine bought some stock units from Rick at Sunbeam Specialties.
They are Monroe units but they have two part #s on the shocks themselves;
32067 and 20815. The two shocks are slightly different in height (the 32067
is slightly taller), have different inner diameter bushings on the lower
mounting (the 32067 being slightly larger than the other) and the 32067 has
coarse threads on the top mount while the other one has fine threads.
Which one, if either, is right for the car? Does anyone else have any other
recommendations for replacements for stock front shocks out there?
