Craig,
I hate to disagree but roller cams are probably the most durable in any
application as they have the least wear characteristics of any cam. I ran a
Crane TR-242 .600 hi-lift solid roller with great success in a street car
and it was run for 4 years taken out and sold to another fellow for his
super gas car. I currently run a hydraulic roller in my Tiger and LOVE it.
