Hi Bob,

I have no direct experience with this adapter. But,.....
If you use it, the shifter will come up at 12 o'clock.  You will need to cut
a hole in the tranny hump on top.  Even if you have the AMC Spirit tailshaft
that puts the shifter in the stock location front to back, you will need to
open up a hole on top.

If you get a custom one made, you can rotate the trans over and the shifter
will come up thru the factory hole.
