A question for the list,
I just got my heads back from the machine shop. They were there for
hardened seats and screw down rocker studs. The machine shop stated
that the valves were on the ragged edge so I had them install new ones.
According to the owner of the shop whoever they purchased the valves
from stated that the 1.67 intake is no longer available, so he installed
1.78s.
I run a custom ground comp cams roller with specs:
Gross intake .448 Exhaust .443
Duration at .050 211 intake and 216 exhaust.
The intake opens right at tdc.
The rest of the motor is a stock 260.
Do I have a problem?
