I can confirm this.  Waterpump should be on, alternator should be off.  Of
course, you have removed your radiator, yes?

        I believe you can get the engine in with the water pump on, but I
would leave the alternator and bracket off.   That will give you better
clearance side to side.

When installing the motor from the bottom, can the accescories such as the
alternator and water pump be installed prior to installation and still allow

for ample clearance as the body is lowered over the engine?  When my motor
came
out it went out the top, no experience going the other way.
