I purchased a set of beautiful seat covers from Sunbeam Specialties and
cannot wait to get them on my tiger. I have stripped one of my old recovered
seats and have started the process. The seat back seems pretty easy so far
with the exception of a few missing screws from the previous owners
replacement. The seat bottom is entirely another animal.

I have stripped the bottom and scraped the surfaces clean. I have the
replacement rubber support but cannot figure out how to stretch it to fit in
the holes. It looks to be about two inches short on the three sides that are
not clipped. What is the trick? Also, the previous seat had about 2 dozen
clips holding the material in place. Is this correct?

Any other advice would be greatly appreciated. My seats were in pretty poor
shape and just about everything disintegrated when I uncovered it.

Thanks in advance,

Malcolm
