There is a clip that the badge is supposed to 'push' into but on mine it
scratched the back of the emblem. In the end I used Windshield urethane. It
is inert to paint and will last longer than the rest of the car. Just drive
to a windshield shop with the emblem and the housing and ask for a squirt
and set it in place. Then wait several hours as there is NO strength until
it cures. It is like liquid rubber and will absorb the expansion and
contraction differences between the plastic and the Metal housing. Don't put
so much on that it oozes out around the emblem as it is super messy to try
and clean off.
