Poor old Ed Baker,
He had just fixed it from a previous episode. He & co driver were fine,
walked away. The car comes out every year from UK to compete in this race.
Ed is a very flamboyant driver & was coming fourth outright when he "hit a
bump in the the road" as he put it. The Tiger is basically stock apart from
minor head & cam mods. The field is littered with Porsche 911 RSR's etc.
Some US muscle is represented but the windy roads in the Adelaide hills
sorts them out. Ed is now looking for an Alpine shell in Southern UK. (this
was an alpine shell, the tiger donor is at home rusted out) This was the
only Tiger competing in '03. There was a MkII in the parade section. The
Classic Adelaide is an amazing event as the rest of that Web site tries to
say. It is sponsored by P&O Nedlloyd & they ship entrants cars from
overseas for free! It would be great to see some new Tigers there this year
particularly as Ed doesn't think he'll be ready in time.

This is my first correspondence on this group so hi all.
