Hi John:
I don't know much about racing, but these sound like stock sunbeam tanks 
from your description.
Are fuel cells allowed in the type of racing you do?
Is the car dual purpose, in which case you'd like to have your trunk 
available for daily use (which makes a single fuel cell in the middle of 
the trunk unworkable)?
Instead of baffles, is it allowable and/or economically feasable to use 
two small fuel cells (in the stock tanks locations) with a crossover tube?
