Listers,
I am trying to design a mount for a non-stock fuel pump under my car in
generally the original location. Has anyone done this already as I am a
little perplexed as to how to mount the assemblies and still maintain a
rubber mount. I do not want to mount it in the trunk. I am planning to run
an Earls Pre-filter and Aeromotive pump and a Fram HPG-1 final filter. Any
good installs would be really appreciated and photos would be best. I do
recall someone on the list built a drop in fuel pump and filter assembly and
I would LOVE a photo or two of that.
I have already built the carb set up with the regulator using 3/8 tube and
some $tainle$$ bi-lok fitting$$ drilled out to an inside diameter of 5/16
inch (same id as 3/8 steel tube) 3/8 aluminum tube is smaller ID. Entire
assembly is clean and includes a regulator and a gauge and fits under the
Ram Air box.
