Photo from Norman Miller's book page 85, for members who don't have his
book.
I e-mailed Norm and this photo is directly from the photo exhibits
supplied by Ian and Doane for the FIA/SCCA of the LAT fan.
Ian and Doane could have grabbed any six blade fan for the photo, or
this fan (with the small hub hole) could be the fan used on the racing
Tigers. The "racing Tigers" might have used a HiPo water pump and they
didn't switch the hubs? It would probably be easier to use stock Ford
water pumps than the Tiger "special" pump. This small hub hole pump is
probably a 1962/63 fan. The shape of the blades and stagger is the same
as the 1" hub hole fan.
.
If the LAT32/42 fan could be ordered by the general public it would have
to be the 1" hub hole fan. This fan option might not have been
available, like the LAT 36 "Tiger" letter finned alloy differential
cover which was made for the racing Tigers Dana 33 (Dana 33 or 30, don't
remember the number), but the stock Tiger has a Dana 44 which has a
different bolt pattern, but that's another story.
