Paul and others.

The ruptured oil line may well have been the cause especially
if you still have the original.  I advise all those who are still using
the original to considering changing it.  I recommend upgrading
to a stainless steel braided line.  

Just like our gas tanks, the oil lines have just about reached their
limit to design life after all the exposure to heat, sunlight, etc.
