Has anyone had any success getting a paint mix from one of these codes? I asked
the local body shop place if they could mix up some color based on a berger
code and they looked at me like I just stepped off the moon.

The best I can do for you is give you all the paint code I have for
code 86 Forest Green (BRG)
86 Forest Green: Ditzler # 43313 Lucite Lacquer # 8420L Dulux enamel
# 97191 Chrysler # 1 liter 75242857
Berger Code 404.2106
If they can't mix the color you want from the mix for one of these numbers
you will need to either find another paint mixer or look through their chip
book to find your color.
