Hold on there Doc :-) . The Pacer is the Tigers distant step-brother. You
know the Rootes, Chrysler, AMC family tree.
Anyway, go to http://www.chez.com/pacer/eindex.htm (unfortunately you have
to scroll down to and click on: 1975, Racing Pacers, Baja or Dragsters).
I'll be the first to say that the Pacer looks like bloated luggage gone bad
(in stock form), but the AMC 6 cylinder has been said to have the best
performance potential of the american inline sixes. Maybe I just have a
liking for homely cars in new clothes, but in race form they don't look half
bad. It's kind of like a "Scrambler" for the 80's.
