One thing I have been meaning to ask about is the lugs on the wheels. I
have stock wheels and wheel studs and what I assume to be stock wheel lugs.
The wheel lugs almost seem too small for the reliefs in the wheels. Is that
normal?

I should also have mentioned that another possible source of the vibration
it tire flat spots. The tires have been on the car for 12 years, they are
what I would call NOS. No or almost no miles on them but lots of sitting
around. The car has sat for months at a time without moving on these tires
several times.

The tire still look great, no cracks inn the sidewalls or anything like that
but I would assume they are suspect.

Apparently the lug holes on my Minilites are slightly larger than the Tiger
wheel bolts. The wheels were not EXACTLY centered on the bolts, especially
on the front and this caused the high speed vibration.
