I have a comp cams custom grind roller in my 260 with 108 degree lobe
separation and the idle is perfect.

I couldn't agree more with the statement that this is one of the best upgrades
you can make to any engine. It's a win win all around, more durability, better
economy, more power, and a broader torque curve.

Well for those of you that do not want Boy Racer consider the wider lobe
separation hydraulic roller cams like the TFS stage 1 and stage 2 cams. I
have always been a Comp Cam guy with my chevy stuff but I am very happy with
the quality of the TFS grind. I would not be surprised if it was a private
labeled Crane or Comp Cam product. Look for lobe separation angles centers
in the 110 to 112 range for good vacuum and smother idle.
