As Theo said, its on the top of the left (drivers) side tank.
But if you are going to remove the tank for some reason,
remove both tanks and have them cleaned and coated
on the inside. Most Tigers are now suffering from clogged
and stuck fuel pumps caused by the alcohol gas removing
the original tank coating.
Also once out, look under the tank in the well. This is a place
that rust starts because the drain hole on the bottom of the
fender is clogged. Or if the fender was replaced the drain
hole doesn't exist. The moisture that causes the rust comes
from sweat on the outside of the tank from cool gas. POR 15
or such works great as this area is never exposed to sunlight.
Make sure your drain hole is open.
