Last night I picked up a copy of June issue of Hot Rod magazine to read the
bore vs. stroke article (thanks to the lister that mentioned it). It is an
interesting piece. It will have the bench racers talking for months.
As an aside, the cover story "Return of the King", documenting the upcoming
Shelby Mustang GT500, shows the engine being positioned into the new Mustang.
Front and center in the photograph of this 500hp 5.4L modular powerplant
(probably hand built), is a stubby filter made by WIX! SVT must have a NAPA
closer to them than a Ford parts counter. What a PR blunder (for Motorcraft)!
Says a lot about Wix filters though.
