The parts manual shows the seat adjusters release to the outside and
the seat back releases on the outside. If you look closely at the seats
this does make sense because it puts all the ugly springs on the bottom
frame to the inside of the car.
It's easy to forget once you take both seat out; bin there, done that, still
learning after all these years about Sunbeams.

Help!!! Do the seat adjusters release towards the center of the car or to
the outside? Are the seat back releases to the outside or against the
consul?
My car is a 1A. I've looked at several, and they vary.
