Yes, for a book where the words don't change like a classic tale  written by 
Shakespeare or Chaucer. I would speculate that with over  620 cars TAC'ed and 
new information becoming available in the years since  Norman's last book that 
his database of info has become overflowing compared to  a decade ago. Any 
2nd Edition of the BON, if ever produced, would  theoretically render the 1st 
Edition inconsequential. 
 
Every 5-10 years, the Shelby American Automobile Club generates a new  
edition of their Registry with better info and updates of current owners and  
their 
cars. The older editions become superfluous. 
 
Why own an earlier edition where the information was wrong and/or has been  
updated and expanded. I'm not sure a 2nd Edition will ever be available so this 
 discussion could be moot too.
