As I recall the fuel line is 5/16 tubing with compression fittings
at the fuel pump and I believe the nut is a standard US thread but you
should be careful not to damage the nut so it can be reused. Be sure to
inspect the whole fuel line before you start the repair; just in case there
are other areas in the line the need fixing.

My fuel line seem to have developed a crack where it enters the fuel
pump. Right above that nasty HOT muffler!!!! Looks like the PO bent it
down some and it probably has hit the rear axle off and on. Anyway,
does anyone know what the fittings and flares are? I figured that I
could cut off the bad piece, then get a standard compression coupling
and make a new piece from the coupling to the pump. Is the fuel line a
standard flared fitting where it is attached to the pump? I hope it's
not the dreaded bubble flare????? Is the nut standard "national" (US)
thread?

I was hoping to gather the parts before ripping it apart
