 Thanks to the many listers who responded to our question. We have now
ordered from NPD.
Never ceases to amaze me at all the help available through this list. Great
for keeping our old cars in top condition and finding information on getting
period correct parts.

"You can purchase a new ballast resistor that is identical to the original
from National Parts Depot, 1955-1957 Thunderbird Parts catalog, Part #
T-12250-1A, cost $21.95. " (this was indeed the correct part, identical,
