Rodney,
The liner on my very original 1A is white.  The top is painted the body 
color, red, but I think it was originally black. When the  exterior came 
through 
black, I think it means that it was a dealer supplied option rather than from 
the factory with the car.  So, I know that the liner came through white, but 
don't know if a factory direct supplied top came through with the same white.
