Hi, all:
The January issue of Automobile magazine has a hilarious article on the
British Reliability Run. Even though there were no Tigers participating
on the run, the observations apply--especially those regarding British
Electrics. Having immolated my Tiger's wiring harness through
carelessness, it's been subsequently pointed out to me that British
Electrics work fine, provided everything is grounded properly.
(Actually, I believe a similar point was recently made regarding E3
headlights and proper grounding).

British car owners may wince when we see the bumper sticker "the parts
falling off this car are of finest British manufacture", but most
everybody I know can cite an incident (or multiple incidents) that
happened to them personally. As for things breaking or falling off,
everytime I fire up the Tiger I wonder if it'll get from point 'A' to
point 'B' with all the bits still on the car. Gotta laugh, even if it's
a painful one....
And the MGA is still a sexy looking car.

And for those of you that love Corvairs (aka Nader's Nemesis), there's a
good article about the Corsa. Evidently GM got the handling well sorted
out--too bad they didn't keep it in producton. The car certainly had
nice lines. Oh, and speaking of funny, I really enjoyed the author's
definitions of oversteer and understeer :-)

Best Regards
David Sosna
