Speedo problems

ok, well would like between 1/16 or 1/8 of an inch make a differance of how 
far the cable is in the tranny. Because i remember it would not go in any 
farther. It is a very small margin, maybe 1 nickel thickness. And there is 
one tooth missing on the 15 tooth gear. But i dont think that should make a 
differance. And if it was just stuck where that tooth was missing, well i 
spun the cable while the car was moving. And there was some resistance.

The cable is in all the way on the gear. And it was in all the way on the 
speedo. So it is the right length. When spring comes along, i will do jack 
the car up on blocks or jack stands and have it in gear. And check it the 
gear inside the tranny to see if it moves.
