I installed the mini-starter on my 5.0 conversion. Its much lighter and
better torque than the original starter. Ford Racing part numbers are
M11000-A50, 1.1kw hi-torque, $185
M11000-B50, 1.6kw, super hi-torque, $289
The clearance around the headers is superb, I can send you a
picture if you like.
