I used some polishing compound to buff the exterior of my bottle by
hand. It worked incredibly well with the polish and a coarse terry cloth
shop towel. Rather than a cleaner it was a fine abrasive and it 'wore'
through the yellow to the original white. It also cleaned up the bottle
nicely.
