Bruce,

One of the few parts I was missing when I reassembled my car were these
clips. I was able to find a set that worked perfectly. I can't remember
what car they were from, possibly a Ford Escort, but the NAPA part
number is 81439.

Hope this helps,

Subject: [Tigers] Brake shoe retaining clip

While trying to adjust my rear brakes this weekend, I broke one of the
small
spring clip retainers that holds the brake shoe to the axle. Can
someone
give me a source for these clips/or tell me what other cars used this
type
of clip so I can get a kit? I have had no luck at the local parts
stores,
(O'Riley just kinda stared glassy eyed at me after they asked what car
it
was for, then said sorry can't help you. At least the guy at autozone
looked thru his kits with no luck).

Thanks,

Bruce
