Many years have passed since I stripped my Tiger hardtop and had it painted.
Now I've installed a new headliner and am finally reassembling it. I have a
question regarding the rubber trim that surrounds the hardtop's two side
"pop-out" windows. The part I'm referring to is Sunbeam Specialties P/N HT-52
at this link: http://www.rootes.com/catalogindex.html under hardtop parts.

Does this rubber molding piece need to be glued in with trim adhesive, or is
it intended to stay in place on it's own due to the design of the trim where
it fits to the hardtop window frame?

If only I had a digital camera 25 years ago when it was disassembled! Thanks
in advance....
