The photos remind me of a kids Mustang pedal car they used to sell in the
60's. Or maybe one of those cars the Shriners drive in parades. I can just
see one driving down the street with the driver wearing a fez, his passenger
waving a large chrome scimitar and playing a kazoo..... and doing circles in
the middle of the street.

About a year or so ago, Mustangs and Fords did an article on a company,
in
Florida IIRC, that took Miatas', removed the body panels and modified
1965
Mustang sheetmetal for it. It looked like a 7/8 scale 2 seater Mustang
convertible. They also added a supercharger to it. It seems like the body
kit
was about $8K installed on your car and the supercharger a couple of g's
more.
I liked it and made me think about picking up one of the little buggers
some
    day.

"Problem is....it's a Miata. I have never seen a heterosexual man drive
a
      Miata."

I've seen a metrosexual driving a Miata. Is that close enough?

Last summer on Woodward there was "Monster Miata" with some type of
body
kit that looked quasi Ferrari-ish. Not a bad looking conversion. It
even
    had
a badge on the front hood that said "Monster Miata" A friend of mine
had
    a
2003 Mazda Miata that he bought new and I took it for a drive. Maybe
it
didn't have the "get up and go" of the Tiger but the suspension was
light
      years ahead in handling.

Back in August at a car show there was a Pontiac Solstice that a
company
called Mallett installed a 400hp GM LS2 v8. You supply the car and
    $21,285.75
for a V8 Solstice. I like the 75 cent charge. What could it be for,
    stamps?
