This may be the link shown in "The Works Tigers" page 351 (1965 SCCA Tiger
Production list)   or in the BON page 85 listed as LAT40, rear axle stabilizer
rod (racing item only).  It appears to be a Doane Spencer modification to
control axel hop. One of the books said the LAT options were developed by
Doane so thats why I think its his idea.    Its shaped like a V with the apex
having a tubular fitting with what looks like bolt ends on either side and the
other two points have steering rack  ends welded on each point.   My guess is
the steering rack ends are fitted to the axel and the other end is bolted to
the frame thus stopping axel hop.   Maybe someone on the list is a suspension
guru and can tell us how it works
