Bill, et al:

Thanks a million for the tip on where to find the rear end numbers on a Tiger.
I guess I'm getting old or something...I just couldn't remember where to find
them!  I'll guarantee you that I'm going to have to degrease mine before I can
read the numbers, too!!!

  Andy,

  It is on the bottom of the rear end on the "flat" that is positioned on the
driveshaft end.  In the attached picture, I had used some lacquer thinner to
remove paint so the number would show up better.  I believe each Tiger has a
unique number.

  I can't believe that I don't remember this, but where do you find the rear
end number on a Tiger?  Is it on a tag or stamped into the rear end somewhere?
I'm just wanting to verify that my car has the original rear end in it.
