Do you have a more definitive breakdown on the cast manifolds? I'm
curious if the differences were closer at lower RPM's.
A number of years ago a Mopar magazine did test with a moderately built
360. At 5,000 stock 318 cast manifolds were within 10 HP of $800 TTI
headers. Mopar also had their version of cast "headers" from the 340 engine
(about $300-$400 a set). They were only up 5 HP.
In this case the headers seem to really make a difference - at least at
5,000 RPM.
