        Tim Ronak wrote up an article for muffler heat shields which should
be listed on TigersUnited.

Similar techniques could be used around the fuel pump but you need to be
careful about fuel leaks and fuel pooling and possible fire.  Muffler heat
shield might be the better way to go.  A fuel leak over a hot muffler will
evaporate and disperse quickly. 

  John Logan moved his mufflers to the back of the Tiger completely away
from the fuel pump area.
