Hi Tony, I am playing catchup here and so apologize in advance for that. Is
the car currently painted black? Could the red you see under black be the
medium redish primer I think B many if not all of us have under our final
paint coat?B That primer is more of a smooth, rudy looking paint a bit
different from the red primer you find over here these days. The reason I ask
is that B color code 1 (not 11) is Embassy Black. B B Maybe there was an
unintentional double strike of the 1 on your VIN plate? Just some thoughts,

Could someone with paint code info post B the color for code number eleven. I
had previously thought the car was 39 as it has red under the added on black
but further cleaning of the vin shows the paint code to be an 11. Thanks in
