Hi Bob:
I inserted the clips and then slid the moulding on. The reason I did it this
way was that I put a drop of clear silicon in the hole before inserting the
clip and I needed to wipe the excess off the paint. This prevents rust from
starting at this spot and should be done any time you drill the painted body.
