Personally I'm a two poster and have been so for ten years . . . never did
understand the whole 4 post thing for working on a car. Great for storage
though. None-the-less, I have seen some 4 posters on the market without
positive mechanical locks, only hydraulic. Very, very, scary in my book.
Ensure you can lock it in the up position . . .
And yes, I would secure it to the slab under any circumstances.
