Thanks all.
When I say stock springs, they have the same dimensions (thickness, coils) =
as stock springs. =C2=A0They are the ones on the car from 1979 when I bough=
t it. =C2=A0I believe the spring rubber is from CAT. =C2=A0Koni shock are o=
lder and have been tested off the car for proper rebound, compression and s=
eem right.
While the sit hight does not concern me too much, although definitely a fro=
nt to rear slope, it is the fact that something truly seems to be 'bound up=
'. =C2=A0Pushing on the fenders, moves things very little and I mean very l=
ittle.
15" wheels with 205/50/15 Yokohama S drive tires at this point on the front=
, not yet fitted the rears. =C2=A0Trying to find out what is 'binding' up t=
he front suspension is my main concern. =C2=A0
Loosing up upper and lower control arms, maybe removing the front sway bar,=
trying some rubber bushing lube would be my next steps and re tighten nuts=
on control arms after short drive with weight on suspension are probably m=
y next steps. =C2=A0The only binding I can think of is the upper and lower =
control arms unless someone can think of something else that I should look =
at?=C2=A0

Since it has been so quiet, I thought I would throw one out. =C2=A0My fro=
nt suspension is sooo stiff and the height is 2-3 inches in my mind higher =
than it should be. =C2=A0Rebuilt suspension, welded up per CAT instructions=
, stock springs, Koni shocks - old and all new rubber etc.=20
The front has no bounce at all. =C2=A0First idea is to loosen upper and lo=
wer control arm bolts, drive just a bit and then re-tighten. =C2=A0Can you =
put the front anti sway bar on upside down - not sure is could be a problem=
or not. =C2=A0Bushing grease on all new rubber?=20
 Thoughts\ideas would be appreciated.=20
