Actually, if you are leaving the hood open s couple of inches then you can b=
uild an upside down hood pin latch. Remove the spring latch in the rear cent=
er, replace it with a shortened hood pin, then make a Z shaped receiver plat=
e for it. use an R clip to hold the hood in the closed position. You can rea=
ch the clip through the opening at the rear of the hood.=20
