their original wiring for the blower switch and blower.

friends dash so I don=E2=80=99t muck it up because I=E2=80=99m thinking =
wrongly.

12v to the switch. Low thru a resistor to the blower, Hi straight thru =
to the blower. Ground is on the blower.

This is covered (as well as it can be ) in the old version of C.A.T. =
Shop Notes. Mine are 600 miles away, but maybe Ron has a copy...

If I recall correctly the blower is hot (that is has voltage applied) =
and the ground is supplied through the switch. There's a speed resistor =
in the circuit to slow it down in "low." I'm talking off the top of my =
head... will check the wiring diagram online and report back if I'm =
wrong.

                Yes, it looks confusing to me also but I do understand =
that the blower can get power from the B post of the voltage stabilizer. =
 It just seems strange that they moved from getting power at the #4 post =
of the ignition switch.  Basically, I don=E2=80=99t want to get behind =
my friends Mk II dash and go - WHAT THE?

My hope is that a Mk II owner would check the wire colors, locations at =
the switch to verify what the real wire diagram is all the way to the =
blower since the diagram in the Shop Manuel is a lot vague.
