DAVID:What you are describing is a P&G meter.It threads into the spark plug
hole & then you pull both inlet & exhaust pushrods & turn over the engine
from timing mark to timing mark.However,you will have to find out whether you
are on#1 or #4 before you start.I havnt used one in years & I am sure they
have become much more elaborate over the years but usually they are only as
good as the operator
