RE:accelerator shaft bushings

I boiled the hell out of my bushings and they were still pretty hard. 
If you take your time with a couple small, flat screwdrivers, you can
coerce them into place.  

One thing I might suggest though- grease those little puppies well when
you put the shaft back in.  Mine were binding until I did.
