Hey Phil -
The dimensions for the radio opening in my '74 TR6 are: 1-1/2" X 3-5/8",
with holes spaced 5-1/8". The nosepieces of all the modern shaft style
radios I've seen are always too big for the opening, and the shafts are
usually too far apart. There is a company called Custom Autosound that
modifies Kenwoods, etc. to fit the TR6, and many other vintage cars.
Their # is 800-901-0222, I believe.
