TR3B oil pressure

What is the correct way to set up the oil pressure relief valve on the
housing that the oil filter bolts to.Do you adjust when cold or hot & do you
have to fit a test gauge,if so where?.
I see a question on other pistons for TR motors,the TR4 i have has pistons
from a Mercedes 87mm bore,not fitted in car yet,but i am going to pull apart
& balance shaft etc,as i dont know the history.
