Hi,
I'm not at work for a couple of days - convalescing. Note: where your
safety glasses when grinding steel.
I agree that setting up your hood, or more properly "bonnet" with quick
release would be a good thing. You'll doubly appreciate this after you
try to get the damn thing back on.

Good luck, I have no idea how making a pin release system would work.
