I even have an Audi TT 225 Quattro Roadster myself in the garage. But I do
have an interesting story that may shed some light on this subject. I bought
my 71 TR6 from a guy in 1989. I paid big bucks for it because it was a low
mileage original car in great shape. The guy took the proceeds from the sale
and
bought a brand new Miata. Around 1999 I ran in to him at a British Car Show
with the Six in full Glory. He literally begged me to sell it back to him.
Evidently the Miata was long gone.
